9:30 AM | Breakfast And Brain Power
- Nutrition: Prepare a protein-rich breakfast such as oatmeal, eggs, or avocado toast.
- Hydration: Start the day with the first full glass of water, especially important for seniors.
- The Goal: Stabilize energy and support cognition.
10:30 AM | Personal Care And The DPT Walk
- Hygiene: Safe shower or sponge bath with privacy and dignity.
- Mobility: Follow movement guidance designed by our DPT leadership with light walking or chair-based functional movement.
- The Goal: Maintain independence through movement.
12:00 PM | The Social Lunch
- Meal Prep: Fresh lunch tailored to dietary goals.
- Medication: Midday reminders are completed and logged.
- The Goal: Turn mealtime into a social moment that supports appetite and mood.
1:30 PM | Active Mind Hour
The early afternoon is when many seniors feel isolated or fatigued.
- Engagement: Crosswords, card games, hobbies, memory prompts, or a technology check to connect with family.
- The Goal: Keep the brain active and reduce loneliness.
2:30 PM | Light Housekeeping And Home Harmony
While the client rests, the caregiver supports the environment.
- Tidying: Laundry, bed linen refresh, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces.
- Organization: Clear walkways and optimize the safety path through the home.
- The Goal: Remove chore burden and keep the home safe.
3:30 PM | Afternoon Snack And Hydration Check
- Energy Boost: A light snack and additional hydration.
- Prep For Evening: Set out pajamas and prepare nighttime pathways.
- The Goal: Keep energy stable and reduce evening risks.
4:15 PM | The CareWell Daily Journal And Handover
Before leaving, the caregiver documents the day clearly.
- The Log: Intake, output, mood observations, and any care notes.
- The Handover: A short briefing for family members arriving home.
- The Goal: Total peace of mind. Families walk into a calm home, not a to-do list.
